You are purchasing a code to
remove SonicMood's startup "nag" screen and 14 "actual use"
days trial limit. You should download SonicMood and try it
first; you are purchasing a code which will "unlock"
SonicMood, but it is quite usable during the trial period
(only days you use SonicMood count against the trial). If you
are having problems using SonicMood, let us know.
Why pay through PayPal?
We use PayPal to handle payment for our software. This gives you both peace of mind and flexibility. We never see your credit card information because the transaction is handled entirely by PayPal's secure servers.
If you already have a PayPal account, you can pay directly by logging in to your account - so there is no need to re-enter your credit card info. But if you don't have a PayPal account, there's no need to create one.
As with any online transaction, always check that the site you are paying through is valid. Click on the lock icon (in Safari 4 on the Mac this appears in the upper-right corner of the window) and verify that the site's certificate is valid.
What’s Next
We will send you an email (from “sales@sonicmood.com”), within half an hour or so after we receive your purchase, containing your registration information.
If it’s been more than an hour and you still haven’t received your registration information from us, you can contact us and we’ll see what went wrong.
Unlock SonicMood
If you haven’t already downloaded SonicMood and put it in your “Applications” folder, do that first. You can download the latest version from the “Downloads” page here.
Unlock SonicMood by pressing the "Register" button on the "nag" screen that appears when you start SonicMood (or select "Register SonicMood" from the "Help" menu). Another window will appear with places to enter the “name” and “code” you received. Enter them EXACTLY as they appear, including hyphens in the “code” (to minimize typos, etc, you can "copy and paste" the name and code). Click on "Accept" to finish the registration. No more "nag" screen!
PLEASE NOTE if the "registration name" you receive is your email address, and you right-click on it and select "copy link," what you paste into the "name" field may include the extra words "mailto:" at the beginning of the name. In that case please delete "mailto:" so that only your email address remains. Otherwise SonicMood won't recognize your registration and will complain.
Users registering for the first time will receive the new “alphanumeric” code. This code will not work with versions of SonicMood prior to v4.8.8. If you want to use an earlier version, please contact us for a different registration code.

Registration Policy
SonicMood is registered to the user, not to a particular computer. If you are the registered user, you can install SonicMood on more than one computer. As long as you’re the one using it, there’s no problem.
Upgrade Policy
A registration is good for two major version releases. After that, you will need to pay a reasonable upgrade fee. For example, if you purchase and register version 5.2.1 your registration code will work on all versions until version 7.3.0. But starting with version 7.3.0 you'll need to pay the upgrade fee which will provide you a code that'll work up until version 9.3.0. Note that this does not apply to anyone who registered before v4.8.6.
Find out when you need to upgrade by selecting the “About SonicMood” window from the “SonicMood” menu. This window will tell you which version you registered with and when you need to upgrade.
